After three years in these Unbranded UB101s, Michael Albaeck’s got a pretty piece of faded jeans to show, and they’ve still got some life left in them. Welcome to today’s Fade of the Day.

The contrasting whiskers on the knees and crotch show Michael’s usage, without much blow out. There are some repairs on the crotch, but that’s the worst of the damage, the jeans are otherwise sound minus a few holes.

The back pockets show a light hue, with wallet and/or cell phone fades, and they’re eye-catching and well worn. The honeycombs are beautifully webbed and pair well with all the subtle scratching throughout the jean. These are definitely appropriate for a day-off jean, retiring them from daily use is not a bad move on Michael’s part, but it does appear they’ve got some miles to go. Now all they need is another wash to wipe away the grime and reveal the true character of the denim below.
