Naked & Famous Stitches Together Frankenstein 4

Sticking with their own tradition, crazy Canadian jeans makers Naked & Famous are back with a treat in the form of the Frankenstein 4. The first return of the Franken-jean in the last few years, this is everything you’d expect from the laboratory of Brandon Svarc.

The fourth iteration features a 13oz Japanese denim with a ‘slubby’ surface texture and alternating twill construction. The name itself results from the mixture of weaves, fabrics, construction types and other oddities (take the upside down leather patch for example). For those of you who are detail orientated and know your warp from weft, the Frankenstein denim is made from rope dyed indigo warp yarns and a natural beige cotton interior weft yarns. With a handful of other great features including black mil-spec non-reflective rivets and buttons as well as an illustrated back pocket tag, this is a jean which overflows with character.

Made in Canada and coming in a ‘Super Guy’ model, this is a skinny fit which tapers from the knee down and has a medium rise.

Available for $165 via Tate & Yoko.
