The Shockoe x American Trench Armstrong Jean is Standard and Stretch

You’ve had plenty of American-woven denim, Japanese-woven denim, and maybe even South East Asian-woven denim. But have you given Italian denim a try? Made by Shockoe for American Trench, this jean features a raw, 12oz. selvedge denim from the highly regarded Candiani Mills in Italy. The 98% indigo warp, 2% natural weft jean also has 2% elastane in the fabric for a bit of giving (or forgiving?) stretch.

The jean has a mid-rise with a trim seat and thigh, narrowing to a slight taper at the hem, and the pair boasts such details as leather backed rivets, buttons, a veg-tanned leather patch, lined back pockets, reinforced front pockets, and a hidden selvedge coin pocket. Additionally, the jeans have branded black coated copper rivets and buttons that will never fade or wear over time.

Available for $225 at American Trench.
