These jeans have been everywhere, man. For today’s Fade of the Day, Joe Kurosawa of Japan is showing off some world class jeans. No kidding, in the last year, this pair of Japan Blue JB0601-J Kyoto Limited Model have been all over. Whether he is in Belfast or Chengdu, London or New York, when Joe visits new places, he is wearing these jeans.
To commemorate his experiences in these places, Joe neatly records his travels on the inside of the waist band of his jeans, creating a visually satisfying design and one of a kind sentimentality.
Joe walks long distances in these jeans everyday and everywhere. Seven months in, he gave his jeans their first wash. Five months later, they got their first soak. This style of wear has led to minimal indigo loss and therefore vibrant and crisp fades. These jeans are glowing. They have incurred many crotch repairs but are still going strong. Joe might need to start thinking of other places on the jeans to write because the waist band is filling up though!
