Tanuki Gets a Good Stretch in With Their Blue Owl Exclusive Jeans

A couple of weeks ago, I said that uncomfortable pants were a choice, and I don’t think I’ve ever regretted saying something less. I’m not sure if anyone wants to fight me about it, but if they do, I know their mobility will be terrible and they’ll also be wrong.

Tanuki’s NST’s “SEN” 16.5oz. Natural Indigo Stretch Selvedge Denim jeans are just the 1,856th piece of evidence backing my case up, but some people are genuine gluttons for punishment and I can’t do much about that. Anyways, jeans.

These are made in Japan with a Blue Owl-exclusive 16.5oz. unsanforized one-wash slub selvedge denim that’s been woven with cotton-wrapped poly core yarn (98%/2%), which means that they feel like a comfortable version of something that’s normally not.

Indigo-dyed with a rope-dye technique, these slubby jeans also feature custom silver and copper hardware, classic five-pocket styling, white selvedge ID, a custom veg-tanned leather patch, a button fly and a modern, tapered fit through the leg.

Available for $315 at Blue Owl.
