Todd Shelton Furiously Celebrates 10 Years of Denim with Angry Denim

Ten years ago, Todd Shelton released their first pair of jeans, the Pro Original. To celebrate their first and best-selling jean, they’ve declared this month Denim Month and will have a whole slew of events and product offerings.

One of the most exciting is their Angry Denim, a 16.9oz. Japanese selvedge denim that, according to Todd Shelton, looked like “it woke up on the wrong side of the bed”. It’s the heaviest denim they offer in their line of custom garments and it makes for a mean jean. It’s dark as night with a smattering of nep throughout. Get up close and personal and you’ll be met with a ton of texture that should result in amazing fades.

Made to order in a variety of Todd Shelton’s fits, you can get this acrimonious denim custom made for you, and it’ll come with details that’ll make any denimhead happy, even if the fabric doesn’t reciprocate the feeling. Tucked belt loops, two-piece waistband, custom hardware, felled seams, and single-needle lockstitching are all present throughout.

Available in both Raw and a rinsed version they call Dark, you can get in on the initial production run and you nab these furious jeans for $196.

In addition to a handful of denim-centric events the brand’s putting on this month, Todd Shelton is holding a factory event on February 23. On offer will be free hemming and repairs; a sample sale, free washdowns, and more.
