For today’s Fade of the Day, Tobias Bar of Germany has put us in the black with his pair of  Momotaro 0905-STI black raw denim. This pair is a collaboration between famed Japanese denim brand Momotaro and their retailer Stilkontor in Leipzig, Germany.

It’s not everyday we get to see black denim in our inbox and that’s a real shame because the fading is brilliantly unique. After just 11 months, one wash and one soak, these jeans are luminous. The whiskers are sharp and the wear on the seat, with the paint chipping, is great.

The black and white contrasting here gives blue and white contrasting a run for its money.  Think getting chalk on your pants in the best possible way.
