Stop what you’re doing, and take a good, long look at this week’s Fade Friday: a pair of denim Carhartt Logger pants weighing in at 15 oz. Kevin, who had a pair of Carhartts featured on our site in 2017, has only worn these for 3 months.
The secret? He’s worked in them bricklaying and laboring, worn over a pair of sweatpants, with suspenders. No repairs yet, but they’ll need some soon, according to Kevin. One wash on these so far. Just goes to show how workwear is really meant to be worked in.
The crispy stack fades on the hem are perfect. There’s a nice contrast on the whiskers and on the reinforcement knees, showing off exactly the way he was using these. Kevin was probably squatting a lot, judging by the honeycombs on the back of the knees and the fades on the front of the knee, and the overall fades on the thighs.
