A Kind of Guise Serves Up Italian Merino Wool Polos

At first glance, you’re thinking to yourself “how does the world need any more polos?”, but most likely that thought gets cut off somewhere between “world” and “more” as your eye moves past the silhouette and you realize A Kind Of Guise has purposefully designed this garment to set it far apart from all the trite examples that are near-impossible to avoid.

The German-made Baccara Knit Polo is crafted from a fine Italian merino wool that feels great against the skin, has a luxurious shine in the sun, and provides a nice drape. The fabric is thin enough that it shouldn’t give you any problems in the warmer months, but just in case it does the vertical eyelet drop-stitch detail through the torso will do well towards venting any body heat you may have. Raglan sleeves don’t always add an elegant touch, however, they certainly do here, and the last detail that makes this polo stand out from the heap is the inclusion of rib-knit cuffs and hemline. Between its mid-century vibes, lux materials, and considered design choices, there really is no comparison between the polos at the mall and the Baccara.
