So, two of Amsterdam’s finest denim purveyors, Benzak Denim Developers and Tenue de Nîmes, both had anniversaries this year (10 and five years, respectively), and because the companies are tight with each other, they decided to celebrate together. And by “celebrate together,” I mean “make a collaborative pair of jeans so indigo-soaked they might leave your legs looking like Dr. Manhattan’s.”

I guess that’s not a bad thing, though, at least if you’re into indigo. And, if you’re reading this site, you probably are.

Dubbed the BDD x TDN 006, made in Japan and outfitted with a generous volume of thoughtful details—like heavy chambray pocket bags, classic five-pocket styling with a hidden sixth pocket, hidden rivets, a debossed leather patch and a button fly—the real star of this slim-straight show is that fabric, which is a sanforized 14oz. 100% cotton, sourced from Collect Mills in Japan and woven with an indigo-dyed warp and weft—perfect for some electric fades.

But because they’re an anniversary offering, production was limited to just 60 pieces. If you’re into them, don’t sleep.

They’re available for €319 (~$360USD) at both Benzak and Tenue de Nîmes.
