Fade of the Day – Gustin Okayama Standard (1 Year, 1 Wash, 3 Soaks)

Today’s Fade of the Day is a pair of Gustin Okayama Standard coming from Maxime Lamer in Nantes, France.

Maxime has faithfully worn these jeans for a year, giving them only one wash and three soaks. Although cycling to work everyday, these jeans have held up wonderfully, needing no repairs. As a denim head and a cyclist, I know that the hobbies don’t mix well. The denim must be rugged.

Even more impressive are the bright and calm watery fades. Easy on the eyes is an understatement.  The different hues just pull you in. The whiskers, honeycombs and seat are some of the most relaxing fades I have seen on the this site. And the knee fades? That super gradual fading is a piece of art.
