Fade of the Day – Timberland Unknown (10+ Years)

For today’s Fade of the Day, we have these Timberland boots sent to us by Jason in London, England, who personally walked to Hell and back in them. Just kidding, he just wore the hell out of ’em over the last ten years, as you can see from the photos.

Jack’s lived through many London winters, and having dogs, he has to walk them daily—snow, rain, or shine. These Timbs have seen better days, but they aren’t dead yet; actually, they look like they might have a couple more years of dog-walking in store.

The grain of the leather is beautiful, saturated with oils and patina from years of wear. Jason’s zip-tied the boots closed on the bottom grommets, forgoing laces, which we imagine means they’re easier to slip on and more comfortable that way, like a big, fancy pair of worn-in slippers.
