Give any kid a pair of dark denim for a matter of months and they’ll be able to fade, tear, and patina it to bits. Today’s Fade of the Day is a pair of OshKosh B’gosh Skinny jeans that are 7 months in and are just getting started.

This pair comes to us from Emerson Gillespie of Tucson, whose kid wears them to pre-school, digging holes in the ground, and just general playing hard. The result, along with countless washes, has so far been a well-worn pair of jeans, especially at the knees, which have both torn.

Emerson now wishes he could find his tyke a pair of real raws like kids use to have back in the day.
