Soundman’s Whitby Jacket is a Clean Take on 1950s British Bush Jackets

If you foresee yourself on a safari this summer, you’ll want a protective layer against the elements. A 1950s British Bush style jacket, perhaps? Take the Soundman Whitby Jacket; a wearable mosquito net, the safari-ready jacket comes equipped with 100% cotton Panama fabric a breathable detail close to the original. Unlike the original safari jacket, they’ve swapped out the belt for an interior drawstring and pared the whole piece back even further by doing away with the epaulets.

The Whitby includes two chest pockets with scalloped flaps and gussets as well as two more flap pockets at the hip. Pair that amount of storage space with a rucksack and you’d have plenty of room left for whatever safari essentials are. Sunscreen, probably?

Available for £429 (~$560USD) at Clutch Cafe.
