Legendary American jacket-maker Golden Bear occasionally collaborates with Unionmade and the result is almost always exciting.
This year, they’re going in on corduroy, taking two of Golden Bear’s most iconic silhouettes— the Santa Cruz Barracuda and the Capitola—and giving them a fresh twist. The fine pinwale corduroy practically screams “take me to the beach with you this summer!” and the vibrant colors they chose seem doubly appropriate for those breezy beach nights. Everything’s made in San Francisco with interior pockets and finished seams.
Speaking of which, if you like the floral print that GB uses to finish their seams, they’ve made two jackets out of that signature vibrant fabric. These unabashedly beautiful jackets give us a nice break from the corduroy theme and would make another great, if slightly bolder,addition to your outerwear collection.
