Fade of the Day – Sage Scout (1 Year, 1 Wash, 2 Soaks)

Today’s Fade of the Day is a pair that was submitted in 2017 but made it through the egg beater without being posted, tsk tsk. It’s a pair of Sage Scout jeans sent in by Firnando Satria Nugraha from Indonesia.

Firnando had worn these jeans for a year at the time and had some impressive results. Because they had only been washed once and soaked twice, the jeans retained a lot of indigo. However, judging by the crotch blow out, we have deduced that these jeans had been worn nearly every day of the year. This hypothesis explains the fades that are beginning to emerge. We’re denim detectives. Anyway, the fades are thin but luminous. There are only a few whiskers but thats OK because there are layers on layers on honeycombs to go around. The seat is probably the most well worn area on the jeans with the knees coming in at a close second.

Firnando, if you see this article, hit us up with the current progress of these jeans. We would love to see how they have evolved since this submission.
