Sure, denim is great, but here at Heddels we’re always down for some canvas and leather patina action, so today’s Fade of the Day is a welcome submission. It’s got some sweet gradients and scuffs around the edges.
Sent in by Maureen Sill on behalf of her wife, Kate Blair, this Winter Session bag has seen over three years of daily commuting in Chicago, Illinois. Though this waxed-canvas piece hasn’t been repaired yet, Kate reckons it’ll need servicing sooner or later as a few blow outs are beginning to appear on the base. Those sturdy handles are a testament to Winter Session’s quality though – they’re still looking pretty tip-top considering how much they’ve been used.
Plus points for the extra indigo along the inside, too – that’s transferred from Kate’s favorite and most-worn Dearborn Denim jeans – we hope to see those sometime in the future too!
