Rancourt Kicks Off Their First USA-Made Running Shoe

A little while back, Rancourt expanded their lineup from exclusively traditional footwear to sneakers, and their latest sneaker is their first in a running shoe silhouette: the Bennett Trainer.

Handcrafted in Maine, it’s done in a purposefully generic, virtually unbranded retro style. It’s available in 6 color variants, each of which use the finest cowhide and Essex (patina alert!) leathers inside and out. The Bennett features a made-in-USA comfort foam footbed, a Reltex Lactae Hevea “Heaven” outsole made from 100% natural latex rubber, a foam padded tongue and collar to keep the “super comfy” theme going, and braided-and-waxed laces. Is this the next great USA-made running shoe?

Available for $295 at Rancourt & Co.
