Samurai Slices Up a Serious Pair of Setta Sandals

I’m not normally one to advocate for sandals that are difficult to wear with socks, but I’m going to be making an enthusiastic exception for these STA19-02 “Warazori” Setta Sandals from Samurai, because look at these STA19-02 “Warazori” Setta Sandals from Samurai.

They’re what happens when someone does one of those lounges that you can rent at resort beaches but for your feet. Do they come with a time limit? Unclear, but also unlikely. Made in Okayama, Japan, they have Samurai’s Original Indigo border ‘Makibishi’ Wabash fabric Hanao for straps, a debossed leather outsole with a triangle metal tector hardware secured heel and an absolutely stupid Igusa Tatami insole.

Never check my math, but I’m just going to assume that these will improve any given summer by 12-16 percent, the way that those lounges will improve any given beach experience by roughly the same margin.

Available for $185 at Okayama Denim.
