Happy weekend everyone! What better way to beat the summer heat (or cold, for those far south of the Equator) than to stay indoors and read about today’s Fade of the Day? This time out it’s a pair of The Worker Shield MW 021X that are just coming to life.
This pair comes to us from Indonesia, courtesy of Heddels reader Fahans al Farabi. He says he wears these jeans all the time, from dating his girlfriend, going to campus, and hanging out with his buddies. He started off by giving these unsaforized jeans an initial soak, and after one week of wear he gave them a real wash. Over the past 8 months, Fahans says he’s given these jeans 6 washes and 7 soaks because he’s not afraid to wash his jeans.
The net result is that these jeans have more subtle, vintage-style fades. No doubt with another 8 months of wear these could be destined to be in a Fade Friday.
