Fade of the Day – A.P.C. Petit Standard (4 Years, 4 Washes, 1 Soak)

There’s a good reason many people start their raw denim quest with a pair of jeans from a brand like A.P.C.: because, they’re easy to get into, and if you wear them they will fade like this. Hence why this pair is today’s Fade of the Day.

These jeans come to us from Walter Chan of Canada who says he wore them 2-3 days a week for 4 years. During that time he also gave them one hand wash per year. The result is a very faded, constrasty pair of jeans that have also held up very well. The usual suspects are here: nice whiskers, defined honeycombs, and what appears to be a front pocket and crotch repair. There’s also some nice white fading on the back pockets on each point. And we’d be remiss if we failed to mention the stacks!
