Naked & Famous Crowns These 23oz. Jeans the King of Slub Jeans

Perfect for the self-loathing denim-fiend, Naked & Famous announced their “King of Slub” jeans a little while back. Made in Canada from a whopping 23oz. Japanese selvedge denim, the brand declares that this is the slubbiest denim ever made and in the absence of any counterclaims, we just have to believe them!

Aside from the main draw of the fabric, the King is finished off with branded N & F hardware and a buffalo leather patch. The fabric is the result of two years of research and development, which have their uniquely uber-slubby feeling due to super-irregular yarns. Add to that the unsanforized nature of this denim and you’re in for a wild ride. Though to pick this dauntingly heavy pair of jeans up before summer borders on serious masochism, one thing is certain: these will get excellent fades. Great for the denimhead who thinks they have it all, kick things up many notches and slide on into these open-weave heavyweights.

Available for $315 at Wright Hand Twill.
