Ralph Lauren’s tradition of offering limited-edition garments to complement each season continues. With denim always having a heavy hand in RRL, it’s no surprise to see knock-outs like the Limited-Edition High Slim Jean taking center stage for the heritage-inspired sub-label.
There’s a lot of detail to take in, from the heavyweight and highly textured sanforized 17.5oz. Japanese selvedge denim to the American-made hardware. They channel ’50s Blue Bell vibes with features like felled outseams, a hand-set and chain stitched waistband with inserted belt loops, roughout suede patch, an on-seam coin pocket, and a reverse yoke. Limited to 300 pieces, perhaps the jean’s main draw is still that red-blue cast denim with its lofty yarns which allow for an open weave and promise to fade beautifully over time.
Available for $390 at Ralph Lauren.
