Today’s Fade of the Day is perhaps tainted by this week’s news regarding the conditions in which some Levi’s, Wrangler, and Lee jeans were made in Lesotho, Africa. Still, we don’t know that these jeans were made under such conditions, so let’s just soldier on for now.
What we do know is that these Levi’s, submitted by a Heddels reader who moves and photographs antique furniture, have seen a lot of action. Both knees have been reinforced as our reader spends a lot of time kneeling down to take photos of furniture. The crotch and one pocket have also been repaired, too. The whiskers and honeycombs are quite subtle, perhaps because of the denim and the number of washes.
These beater work jeans still have lots of life left in them, though, so let’s see them back some time!
