Yep, it’s another edition of Fade Friday and this time around it’s a pair of indigo warp and weft jeans from Iron Heart with honeycombs that we just can’t get enough of!
These IH-634SII 18oz. jeans come to us from Rasmus Lampinen in Finland, who’s perfected this impressive example of indigo-loss in just eight months – all from wearing them on the regular and not doing much else. Is that a new record?
Rasmus has only given them two washes so far and there’s still plenty of dye left in certain areas, allowing for a cool range of blue tones that go right from deep indigo through to electric and pale, almost-white bits on the back pockets and seat. Speaking of which, they’re complete with a nicely outlined wallet profile and plenty of fades to enjoy on the knees. After some solid wear, Rasmus spotted a crotch blow out and attempted a DIY repair before realizing it had gone too far, and sought professional help in patching it up neatly. Rasmus, not only are we keen to see what this pair looks like in a few more months, but we want to know your sick fade secrets!
