You never forget your first pair of raw denim and today, we have the honor of telling you about Fauzan’s in this Fade of the Day! As an architect in Jakarta, Indonesia, Fauzan has worn these Naked & Famous jeans over the course of two years and has given them five washes and no soaks. For roughly three days a week, Fauzan has been chipping away at these jeans while at the office. In that time, these jeans have become more and more his own. For example, when his wallet started to rip his back pocket, Fauzan took in upon himself to create an impressive sashiko repair.
Outside the world of repairs, which also included a crotch repair, the fading on these jeans is great, especially for a first pair. On the front side, most of the fading action is happening between the thighs and knees, in which there are defined whiskers and heavier fading on the fabric. On the flip side, the seat and honeycombs are pulling the most weight, helping to round out a well worn pair of jeans that have come along way but still have plenty of potential.
