Controversy time! You might be wondering how today’s Fade of the Day, a pair of Nudie Grim Tim Dry Selvage, look so faded after 2 months. Well, it’s because their owner has distressed them by hand to give them a more faded look.
Heddels reader Dennis Santarinala of San Diego says he wore these for 2 straight months until they developed obvious creases. Then he took to fading them by hand. He says part of the reason he does this is because he has a desk job at which he’s not allowed to wear jeans.
What say you? Is this denim heresy or a necessary evil for someone who doesn’t get much time to wear denim?
