It’s not every day that two historic workwear brands come together to make a pair of boots that will have you talking the talk AND walking the walk. Luckily, that is exactly what Black Bear Brand and Wesco Boots have achieved with their Boss Engineer Boots. These Scappoose, Oregon-crafted boots feature Horween CXL Black leather from Chicago,1930s triple stitching, and a Vibram Raptor non-marking, oil-resistant sole, amongst many other juicy components that distinguish them from the competition.
Modeled after a classic engineer boot but given a softer sole not only gives unmatched traction, it creates a tasteful mix between traditional and modern styling. It’s one thing to say that these boots look gorgeous, but the assurance that they will last a long time and look better with age puts them on a whole other level. If you’re just wearing these boots for the style points, you’ll succeed with flying colors, but if you’re buying them for quality and durability during specialized jobs or activities, you’re also covered. If that doesn’t make these a well-rounded boot, I’m not sure what does.
On pre-order through August 27 for $695 at Black Bear Brand
P.S. Can we take a moment of silence to appreciate how good they look worn in? One word: inspiring.
