Vasco Slings a Set of ’70s-Induced Bags

When considering your next go-to bag, you might not think it would come from the stylistic leanings of a hiking hippie. Inspired by the outdoor styles of the ’70s, the Cas Bags from Vasco are just that.

Constructed from a heavy-duty paraffin-coated 9oz cotton canvas, accompanied by some solid brass hardware and natural leather, they’re an ideal everyday carry. The cotton canvas will give the bag a rugged and robust feel, while the leather from the renowned Hemeji Tannery will develop some beautiful patina over time. Made in Japan, the bag also features a leather handle at the back for hand carry, a button snap leather closure, detachable leather strap, and olive drab lining. And if you really want to flex, try the 243F model with a fur outer, taken from re-purposed 1940’s Swedish military caps.

Available from £189 (~$230USD) at Clutch Cafe.
