John Lofgren Takes on Moc-Toes and Monkeys for its Latest Boots

John Lofgren fans, take note, pre-orders are open for their latest batch of Monkey and Moc Toe Boots. Lofgren boots are lovingly made in small batches, so don’t monkey around before they’re gone—you might regret not copping a pair of these vintage-inspired boots (as some JL fans can extol).

If you stomp around in a pair of Monkey boots, you could evoke the 70s and 80s mod (and then skinhead) style of wear. Upping the punx has never looked more sophisticated. Walk around in a pair of these Moc Toes, and you’ll be transported to the late 1800s, or at least your feet will.

Utilizing the brand’s proprietary lasts on both styles, both styles are made in Japan and feature full-grain leathers from Horween, Goodyear welt construction, Japanese brass eyelets and speed hooks, leather midsoles, and heavy duty laces. Different soles and finishes of leather are available, and you can resole these down the road if you want to change it up, just be sure to size properly. The boots will be ready to ship in February 2020.

Available for Pre-order at Standard & Strange.
