Margaret Howell and Barbour Introduce a Cleaned-Up Collab

Have no fear, a Margaret Howell and Barbour collaboration is here to ease your wardrobe into fall. The collection of four uber functional and stylistically timeless jackets includes the three quarters length A73 coat, the Spey jacket, and A7 jackets in both black and Archive Olive.

As expected, all four pieces feature Barbour’s time tested waxed cotton cloth and utilizes Howell’s ability to craft elegance and sophistication. The tartan lining that usually adorns Barbour jackets is replaced with a simple khaki twill lining. But that’s not the only subtly yet impactful tweak: the silhouettes of the jackets have also been relaxed to emulate a less form-fitting, laid back aesthetic.

Whether worn casually over a t-shirt or as the top layer of an intricate outfit, any of these clean, no-frills jackets work as both understated functional garments and sharp statement pieces, a balance that is hard to strike.

Available from £399 (~$490USD) at Margaret Howell.
