Universal Works Reaches the Peak of Fleece Mountain

Recently, I’ve spent an objectively unhealthy amount of time monitoring a change.org petition called Make All Fabrics Fleece*. If anyone out there is questioning the practicality of the petition’s endeavor—or the moral impetus, all geopolitical things considered—it’s probably wise to not do that. Inspection only favors the prepared and while I’m some things most of the time, I’m not part of the Prepared™ subset. But for those wondering why someone would invest time** in an effort like the above, allow me to introduce you to the Universal Works Lancaster Mountain Fleece Jacket—a potential standout in literally every cold-weather setting, including Ted cosplay events.

(*I 100% started this myself, I apologize to all the people at change.org. **Again, this is a very real petition. I apologize once more to change.org. Just know that this one is relatively tame considering, and that my inanity is an existential threat to the service.)

Granted, versatile, fall-ready jackets are basically a narcotic in my life, so take my endorsement with a grain of whatever you prefer, but know that this one is still notable because it’s pretty much perfect. Made from a fluffy 65/35 acrylic/polyester blend with ribbed cotton trimming and cut to layer whenever, it features a shawl collar, a button front placket, patch pockets at waist and a straight hem.

And it’s only $190. Enjoy.

Available at Stag Provisions.
