Fade Friday – PMP Denim Skunk Type 3 Denim Jacket (2 Years, 0 Washes)

For this week’s Fade Friday, Belut Sawah’s PMP Denim Type III jacket is giving us some serious trucker jacket envy. Belut lives in Bandung, Indonesia, one of the worlds greatest fade incubators and has been wearing this jean jacket for nearly two years. It has accompanied him during fade inducing activities such as hiking, rock climbing, motocross, and jungle exploring. Yes, we want his life too. In all its time on the job, the type III has been washed twice and has never been repaired.

Instead of repairs, this jacket has collected wear, scars, and aging, III things we love to hear. The body and shoulders of the jacket have been well worn in, unlocking a crisp blue hue. However, it’s the sleeves of this jacket that steal the show, and the indigo too apparently, because there is barely any left. The honeycombs are raging and flow all the way from the top of the arm all the way down to the cuffs. Are you kidding me?? What a fade.
