Himel Bros. and The Black Acre Release a Serious Set of Leather Goods

I can’t in good conscience pretend that I know a lot about leather goods, but I also feel like even someone who knows nothing about leather goods could appreciate the Himel Bros. and The Black Acre’s latest four-piece collaborative effort.

Consisting of two different wallets and a key loop, available in either black or brown Shinki Horsebutt leather, plus a brass wallet chain—buying accessories for your accessories is an underrated power move—the leather goods in this knockout collection were handmade in their entirety by Ray Lansburg in his California workshop, while the chain was made in Japan for anyone concerned about shortcuts.

Otherwise, the wallets come in both Cardholder and Mini Trucker variants, the Mini Trucker coming outfitted with brass snap closures, and the key chains feature brass hardware with clips that are—and this is a real thing—re-springed by Lansburg himself, just to ensure quality.

Prices range from $80 to $325, and it’s all available for pre-order through November 1 at Himel Bros.
