London’s Clutch Cafe have just received their first shipment from Setto Indigo Label. While the name may not be familiar to many, its predecessor, Soulive, will be. If you’re an enthusiast of Japanese style and indigo drenched product, you’re going to want to get familiar with this new gear from the Far East.
The brand’s ethos remains much the same, so expect handcrafted and traditional styling with a contemporary street take. Plenty of indigo for all and great detailing like Japanese sashiko stitching gives Setto Indigo’s eye-catching first collection a worthy place at the table. From small and affordable accessories like the Watch Cap and Muffler to the intricately constructed Ranru Indigo Remake Cardigan and the traditional Arts Crafts Hanten Bandana kimono, this small collection has a big impact.
For a more contemporary Western take, the brand have even channeled an International-style motorcycle jacket dubbed the Hunting Mountain Parka. Made from indigo dyed 60/40 cotton/nylon 110 denier denim, the Parka features a slanted map pocket, checked lining and fold away hood.
