Fade Friday – Eternal 888 15th Anniversary Edition (4 Years, 7 Washes, 1 Soak)

Perry Goh in Singapore is giving us a breath of fresh, uh, denim with his pair of Eternal jeans. We don’t see a lot of Eternal jeans in the good ol’ inbox and maybe its because they are eternal, meaning people never need to buy new pairs? Yeah thats probably right.

For a little over four years, Perry has religiously worn his jeans five days a week while working and exercising and the results are impressive. The front of the jeans have a bright washed out vintage look to them that is super easy on the eyes. The back of the jeans have the same low contrast fading going on in the thighs but the honeycombs and back right pocket prove that high contrast fades are still possible on these jeans.

The best part of these jeans has to be the hand painted reference to Ando Hiroshige’s “The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō that Perry painted around the left thigh. Talk about personalization.
