Brooklyn Tailors Have Got Their Hands on Glenn’s Denim

Glenn Liburd has been at this denim thing for over 30 years at this point, and now he has his own line – the aptly named Glenn’s Denim. And that’s good for anyone in the market for really good denim products. Also good for the same group:  there are quite a few handsome pieces in Glenn’s locker.

Available exclusively at Brooklyn Tailors, the collection consists of five cuts and a jacket, and those cuts come in a couple of fine fabrics. In the 13 oz. raw selvedge variety, there’s the GD110 Slim Tapered, the GD111 Slim Straight, the GD112 Slouchy Tapered and the GD113 Relaxed Wide Leg. For the washed 14 oz. heads out there, there’s the Slim Straight fit in a Total Black and the GD112 Slouchy Tapered, too. And because corduroy is important too (see: everything I’ve written on this site, corduroy-focused or not), they also did their Slim Straight cut in an olive corduroy. Glenn clearly knows what’s up.

Lastly, their GD211 Trucker Jacket is looking like a real nice black alternative to a classic Type III, and has a snug body, high armholes and slim sleeves, inspired by a decidedly ‘70s silhouette.

It’s all available at Brooklyn Tailors between $210 and $310.
