Dye DIY with Curious Corners Indigo Starter Kit

We love indigo so much that most of us have considered dyeing our own clothes, but there’s a reason we pay a premium for indigo-rich goods. It’s hard to dye with indigo! There are plenty of kits on the market, but many have so many warnings and instructions, you’re exhausted by the time you open the box.

Luckily for us, there’s Yamato Indigo. Their Starter Kit has a much-simplified indigo-dyeing set up. A “just add water” situation, their kit contains a natural-blend indigo powder that only requires hot water to begin your dyeing adventure.

The kit comes with tea cloths and bandanas, which you can use to make your very own shibori, but this dye will work on any natural fibers. You could dye anything from cotton to leather to linen to wool, if you so chose.

Easy-to-use, the Yamato Indigo Starter Kit could very well empower you to move on to more complicated dye techniques, but for the meantime, enjoy being crafty and dye the heck out of whatever you can.
