Kluane Mountaineering Conjures Up An Exclusive Down Jacket For North American Quality Purveyors

Kluane Mountaineering has been making down-filled goods out of Edmonton, Canada for over 45 years. They’ve remained anchored by their core concept of crafting quality outdoor gear, using as many locally sourced components as possible since 1971. The Postie Down Jacket is made exclusively for North American Quality Purveyors, making this a fully Canadian affair.

As the name alludes, these jackets are inspired by Canada Post issued letter-carrier jacket liners. With its clean silhouette which includes little more than two slanted handwarmer pockets, elastic wrist closures, and a stand collar, this jacket does ‘no frills’ as well as ‘no chills’. Composed of a 75% poly/ 25% cotton shell, lined with a ripstop nylon lining, and filled with 850-fill 100% Canadian white goose down, the Postie jacket certainly packs a minimalist punch.
