Mister Freedom Dresses Its Ranch Blouse Jacket in Midnight Denim

Serious denim jacket collectors have probably already got one Mister Freedom ranch blouse in their closet, but we’ve got good/bad news for those guys– they may to need room for one more.

This season, the folks at Mister Freedom have released a brand new fabric they’re calling ‘Midnight Denim’. Weighing in at 16oz. Midnight Denim features a dark indigo warp and black weft for a look that’s nearly black, but still has that richness you associate with deep indigo denim. Otherwise, the Ranch Blouse is pretty much the same as in earlier denims –  a chaotically-stylish jacket that blends  1930s and 40s details to effectively fuse the traditional Type I and Type II Levi’s jackets together.

The boxy silhouette will pair nicely with a higher-rise pair of jeans and the new dark Midnight color will complement your usual jeans without doing the whole Canadian Tux thing. A rounded collar, pleated front, cinch-back waist adjuster, and selvedge detailing should seal the deal for anyone on the fence.

Available for £395 (~$510 USD) at Clutch Cafe.
