Samurai Cuts a Sluggishly Slow 5 oz. Loopwheeled Tee

For this exercise, I’m going to pretend that a t-shirt with “year-round” versatility isn’t All T-Shirts*, but only because the premise of this Samurai 5oz. Super Slow Loopwheeled Tee seems to require that of me. Also, out of fairness, these seem like really good tees, so let’s run with it.

(*To be clear, wearing literally any t-shirt as a layer during any season is about as weird as sitting down while using a chair or chewing while eating, but onward.)

Made in Japan from a crazy soft 5oz. loopwheel all-cotton fabric—woven on an old-fashioned machine at an absolutely glacial “20 tees on a good day” pace because dedication—these hitters feature a double-stitched collar, a ribbed crew neckline and a brushed interior to really ramp up the comfort levels.

The star of this show, though, is that fabric. As Corlection claims, the 5oz. brushed specimen breathes better in the summertime and holds up in the wintertime, allowing for a comfortable ride, yes, year-round. But because of all that, these were made on a short run, so grab one while you can.

Available in white, black and grey at Corlection for $60 each.
