3sixteen has brought back their Japanese-milled shadow selvedge denim in their Type3s Denim Jacket, taking some of their most interesting fabric and draping it over one of their most beloved designs, everyone wins with this combination.
3sixteen’s additions and tweaks to the classic design make sense, a longer body, welt pockets, Japanese corduroy lining, and an eye-catching cross back yoke that you don’t get from anyone other than 3s. They went ahead and removed the back waist cinch, and the back seams down the back were also removed, but you likely won’t even notice they’re gone.
Made in Los Angeles, the 14.5oz. 120x Shadow Selvedge is gonna fade with high contrast, fans of the brand can attest to you, this fabric is for fans of black denim that wears unlike any other. The jacket also features two flap pockets on the chest, 3sixteen tag, button closure, YKK shanks, and zig-zag stitching on the collar stand.
