We all remember that first fleece jacket. The marvel of experiencing something soft and warm and light and then hearing that it’s made of recycled soda bottles was a mind-bending experience for 8-year-old me and my Polartec. Battenwear has brought those same vibes to their Warm-Up Fleece, a jacket Batten’s founder Shinya Hasegawa designed to wear before and after cold-weather surfing.

The Warm-Up fleece is made in USA out of Polartec Classic 200 (100% polyester) so it has that same 90s feel. It also has a ribbed cuff and hem to keep the wind out as well as two zippered hip pockets and a snap pocket on the breast.
