Kobashi Studios Gets Down To Brass Tacks With a Solid Card Case

We like good patina here at Heddels. To evidence this, just take a quick look at Fade Friday, our own little temple of the well worn and well loved. Denim and leather are our drugs here at Heddels HQ, but that’s not to say we’re exclusive with this dynamic duo. We’re not afraid to look further field. And if we didn’t draw your attention to this handcrafted piece of wizardry, we wouldn’t be doing our jobs.

The Kobashi Studio Card Case is manufactured in Tokyo by a finishing company which has been active since the early 1950s and is made from solid brass which polished to a high shine. With no detail being spared by Junichi Kobashi’s Studio, which is a small Tokyo-based atelier specializing the manufacture of brass products utilizing vintage machinery, this brass beauty is going to age and patina from oxidization the more you use it.
