Warehouse Looks Back At Heritage Outdoorwear With Its 2131 Classic Pile Jacket

Warehouse channel tech wear godfather Patagonia in their latest Classic Pile Jacket, but this ain’t your average tech bro pile fleece, this is the considerably crafted in Japan upgrade.

It’s like a Patagonia jacket, but from another dimension, a bizarro, doppelgänger version of theirs. Anyway, we think you might like this one better than your old Patagonia, and these’ll go with your Warehouse pieces a lot better.

Details on the jacket include era-specific synthetic pile fabric, made from plastic bottles, first introduced in the late 1970s. It’s water repellant, lightweight, and can hold up to all the weight of your hand repeatedly reaching in the pocket to grab your decidedly not 1970s era phone.

The internal pile fleece is fast drying, warm, and maybe too warm. Thankfully it’s not a pullover, there’s a YKK zipper for when the temps start to climb, and your pits needs a little air circulation. There’s also a funnel-cut collar, navy blue ribbing at the cuff and elastic waist band, and two D-shaped hand pockets.

Available for $335 at Clutch Cafe.
