Iron Heart stays high with their latest High Rise Tapered 888 Jeans, for those of us who need our trousers to sit above the waist, and for those who are looking for a change in their fit preferences. Now’s a good time to get into high-rise denim, I’m looking at you, Iron Heart fans.
Cut from sanforized, 21oz. Japanese low tension, red line selvedge denim, the jeans are as hardy as any pair of Iron Hearts hanging in your closet—they just sit a few inches higher. Oh, and they’re tapered a bit, so you don’t have to worry about any extra fabric dangling from your skinny legs. This denim is white double twisted weft, indigo rope dyed warp, sure to fade beautifully.
Other details include zinc buttons on the selvedge detailed fly, IH engraved rivets, heavy canvas twill pocket bags, fully lined back pockets featuring IH’s signature arcuates (try fading a hole through these!), an embossed leather patch, bartacks reinforcing at stress points, rolled and tucked belt loops, as well as chainstitching on the waistband, yoke, seat, and hem. All made in Japan.
