Pherrow’s Channels 70s Fila With Its Baka Pile Jacket

Pherrow’s pays homage to a ’70s style athletic fleece with their Baka Pile Jacket, one that you don’t have to be a crazy track runner (or Björn Borg whiffing a tennis racket around) to wear, you just got to love the Baka (‘crazy’ in Japanese) pile fabric.

The design is a little loud, sure, but sometimes you need that in a piece of outerwear. It’s not that crazy. With a cozy fabric like this, you won’t complain, you’ll just be glad for the insulation come a late-winter cold spell.

Styled in red, white, and blue, the Baka features contrasting panels and ribbing throughout. The collar, waistband, and cuffs are as patriotic as any bald eagle-loving truck driver. We’re looking at 100% cotton towelette pile material, featuring two slash (hidden) hand-warming pockets on the front, a two-way zipper to put some ease on the hem ribbing, with Pherrow’s vintage American athletic brand-inspired logo embroidered on the chest.

It’s really hard not be charmed and warmed by this Japanese-made beauty.
