Corridor NYC Springs Into SS20 With a Pattern-Laden Collection

I can’t say I always look forward to the spring/summer seasons when it comes to fashion. Things feel flimsier, less exciting, and often basic. Luckily for us, some brands have gone the extra mile this year by pushing fabric development and styling to bring us an S/S for the books. One of those brands is Corridor NYC

Corridor has administered us with a serious dose of cool to usher us into the warmer months. Washed-out chambrays, linens, and natural canvases make a strong foundation for the new season, but the real winners are their amazing new fabrics, many of which have been engineered and produced in India.

Take, for instance, their Natural Linen Overshirt. We’re no strangers to linen ’round these parts, but Corridor has deployed this notoriously breathable fabric to sew up a lightweight overshirt that will serve as a dainty chore-coat for those warm summer evenings. They’ve also pre-washed this piece so that is drapes well with a soft hand from the get-go.

The New York label has also added another compelling rendition of their camp-collared workshirt – Black Olive Summer Stripe. This darkly evocative shirt is a heightened seersucker with a visible texture, also woven in India.

But it’s not just great shirting this season – fatigue shorts, soft tailoring, lightweight jackets, and white pants all round out this extremely solid collection, leaving you wanting to get one of everything.
