Defend Yourself From April Showers With Private White V.C.’s Archive Ventile Harrington

Let’s take a second and return to the basics and where better than that most essential of non-denim outerwear pieces:  the Harrington. British brand, Private White V.C. has gone back into its archives for a killer collaboration with American independent retailer, Division Road Inc.

The outer of the jacket is 100% cotton Ventile, a famous British-born military cloth that actually tightens and repels water when it encounters it. But despite the fact that the jacket comes from the archives, the fit has been upgraded and lengthened to appeal to a modern audience. Its dual snap, corduroy-lined collar pairs expert styling with luxe materials, as do the sleeves, which are lined with silky viscose. A two-way zip and hidden ribbing at both the cuffs and hem play to the Harrington’s functionality without being at all derivative.

Coming rendered in three beautiful and easy-to-wear colors, this Harrington manages to nod to British history while slotting perfectly into the modern wardrobe.
