Bryan Szabo in Fredrikstad, Norway is going above and beyond the call of duty with this weeks Fade Friday. Not only does he have a killer pair of Indigofera jeans to show off, he’s actually running the Indigo Invitational Fade Competition to encourage others to fade their jeans right along with him! If that commitment doesn’t prove his dedication to raw denim, lets get to his pair of beautifully faded jeans.
Since his fading competition started on June 1st 2019, Bryan has worn these jeans nearly everyday and has submitted them to all kinds of outdoor work during the summer months and is letting them take a winter breather before the final push of barn cleaning and wood chopping while weather warms up again.
Bryan’s commitment to fading these jeans has paid off in the form of bright blue thighs, shy whiskers and the foundation for some truly powerful honeycombs. Remember, it’s only been 9 months.
My favorite part of this pair has to be the Sashiko repairs on the crotch and the cuffs. They are bold, charming, and add an extra layer of originality to an already distinguished pair of jeans.
